Objective: To facilitate teachers enrich their teaching capacity with IKS.
SUDHEE recognizes that teachers are the key facilitators of meaningful learning. To enable effective dissemination of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in schools, we design specialized Teacher Training Programs with the following focus areas:
Content Highlights:
- Orientation to IKS – Introducing teachers to the philosophy, scope, and relevance of IKS in today’s education.
- Content Familiarization – Training on core themes such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Vedic Mathematics, Astronomy, Panchakosha, and Bharateeya cultural heritage.
- Pedagogical Tools – Equipping teachers with interactive, activity-based methods to blend IKS seamlessly with modern classroom practices.
- Holistic Development Focus – Enhancing teachers’ capacity to guide students in comprehension, memory, concentration, stress management, and value-based learning.
- Integration with Curriculum – Helping teachers align IKS content with conventional subjects for practical classroom application.
- Continuous Support & Resource Access – Providing manuals, digital content, and periodic refresher workshops to sustain teacher empowerment.
Outcome: Teachers become voluntary facilitators of IKS, feeling respected, valued, and recognized as the most important part of the mission. This ensures that students not only gain academic knowledge but also holistic wisdom, life skills, and cultural rootedness through their Teachers.
